Hi! I’m Johanna (pronounced yo-hon-uh), and I’m a therapist (LPCC), feminist, and am currently pursuing a PhD in media psychology through Fielding Graduate University. My dissertation will focus on critical positive media, including cooperative design and development.

Future work will focus on groups and individuals designing the cooperatives of their dreams, whether they're related to housing, a hobby, or a career-related ambition. Importantly, I bring a feminist ethic of care to this work.

Many of our personal relationships, communication, and relational skills have taken a hit, or were never what we deserved in the first place, because of larger forces outside of our control. We can recover by coming together to rebuild these skills and engaging in community.
